Getting & Staying in the ~Spirit~

Clearly at MFM we aren’t focused on just one thing. Jewels, gold, family stories, designing, you already know that’s up our ally. But here in our space, we love and hope to share even more with you! We’re not just your local jeweler, but your pal too! That’s why we are opening up our holiday tradition books with you and hoping you guys take an idea or two to add to your celebrations this year. Liiiike these fun holiday cocktails we stir up just in time to relax after opening all the presents or for the ball to drop! See below these two fun and creative drinks to take to your gathering to get everyone intrigued and excited to celebrate!

Cocktail 1 - Snowglobe Fizzy by the Modern Nonna

This glass can be passed mid morning or evening (ya know, if you’re the family, like mine, that doesn’t prefer to run marathons Christmas morning, or maybe you wanna do both!) The art of this isn’t the mixing talents but the preparation. I’ll let you read all about how to do it in the link here. And there’s a non-alcoholic version for the kids to join in! This recipe suggests adding your favorite spirit which is definitely more for evening but my family, Christmas morning this past year, did champagne to be more ..appropriate.. and add more fizz and wonder! Grab your SCAPE coaster and head to the couch or table!

Cocktail 2 - Freezer Door Martini with Lemon Bitters by Sara Lynn

Intended to batch and store to pull out of your freezer for easy pouring. When the 10 second ball drop countdown is on..you better be prepared to fill that cup because we all know it’s utter chaos. Unless you’re at home because New Year's hype is too much (meet us on the couch), still, we like to keep it easy. And don’t forget to add your SCAPE pick with your stash of olives piled on! Linking this spirit filled tastiness here.
